What is the E-land museum: The E.Land Group, known for its extensive and premier Hollywood movie collections, has established the E.Land Museum in Hallim, Jeju-do.

  • This museum uniquely showcases authentic items associated with movie and muscial production, including those related to actors, directors, and various awards.

What does it feature: As the first museum by The E.Land Group, it features

  • An array of movie costumes and props,

  • The world's most expensive Oscar Trophy,

  • Genuine props used by globally renowned directors who have received Annual Academy Awards.

Musical Special Exhibition 'Lara's Dream Theater' Held - 'Dorothy's Costume from The Wizard of Oz, 1939'

Musical Extravaganza: E-Land Museum has announced the launch of a special exhibition titled "Musical Special Exhibition: Lara's Dream Theater."

  • Held at Daegu E-World for about six months starting from January 12th.

Exhibition Highlights: This special exhibition showcases E-Land's collection of musical and movie musical memorabilia.

  • It features a narrative centered around new character 'Lara', alongside E-World's existing characters 'Vivi' and 'Popo'.

Exclusive Displays: Remarkably, one of only four existing dresses worn by 'Dorothy' in the 1939 film "The Wizard of Oz" will be displayed in Korea for the first time. Additionally, the first-ever "Tony Awards" Best Actress trophy will be revealed to the public.

 

Musical Memorabilia: Visitors can see a variety of costumes and props used in musicals and film musicals, including the piano used by the members of the renowned pop group ABBA for composing hits like “Mamma Mia” and “Dancing Queen”.

BTS "Dynamite" Performance Outfit: The exhibition will also feature the outfit worn by BTS during their performance of "Dynamite" at the 63rd Grammy Awards.

 

Future Collaborations: An E-Land Museum official mentioned plans for future collaborative exhibitions not only at E-World but also with external organizations like Hyundai Department Store Pangyo Branch and Seoul Design Foundation.
